How to Read Your Result

Four things worth understanding before you commit to a savings plan.

The goal line is the target The dashed line on the chart is your goal. Watch where your projected balance crosses it — that is your real completion date.
Small rate changes matter less than you think Over a few years, how much you contribute usually moves the total more than the return rate does. Adjust the monthly saving first.
Time is the second lever If the monthly figure required to hit your goal feels out of reach, giving yourself more time lowers it — that's often the easier trade.
Revisit this as things change A raise, a new expense, or a change in your timeline all shift the numbers. There is no penalty for coming back and re-running this.

What This Tool Does and Doesn't Do

The maths is a standard compound-growth projection, and it runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere unless you press "Explain my numbers", and even then only the figures go, never your name or contact details.

What it can't do is guarantee a return. The rate you enter is an assumption you control, not a promise — actual savings and investment returns vary, and a plain savings account behaves very differently from an invested one. Treat the result as a well-informed estimate, not a forecast.

Important: This is educational information, not financial advice. Confirm the figures with a qualified adviser before you commit to anything.
