Sector Overview

Claude for Financial Services — Equity Research

Sector Overview

Paste or upload your reports, filing extracts and notes. Get a committee-ready sector primer — structure and value chain, demand drivers, competition, regulation, key players, metrics, risks and where the investable opportunities are — with every factual claim tied to your sources and every gap listed as a question. Works for Caribbean, Central American and Andean sectors as well as global ones. Trilingual.

What the Agent Produces

Ten sections, each claim tagged to the source it came from. Nothing comes from outside your material: what the sources do not support becomes a question, not a statement.

Scope & Source Coverage Which sources you gave, what they cover, their dates, and what they leave out.
Structure & Value Chain Fragmented or consolidated, where value accrues, business models and barriers to entry — as your sources show them.
Demand Drivers & Headwinds Sourced tailwinds, headwinds, technology disruption and consolidation.
Competitive Dynamics How players compete, who gains or loses share and why, as far as your sources say.
Regulation & Policy Regulators, licensing, concessions, tariffs and tax regimes named in your material.
Key Players Only companies that appear in your sources, in a table with n/d where data is missing.
Metrics & Valuation Context The metrics that matter for the sector and the figures your sources give; valuation only if sourced.
Risks Market, regulatory, FX, concentration and country risk, with the informality caveat where it applies.
Where the Opportunities Are Hypotheses for the committee with bull and bear cases and catalysts, each tied to evidence.
Open Questions & Gaps A numbered list of what is unsupported and which source would answer it.

Draft for review by a qualified professional. Works only from what you provide; nothing is added from outside. Do not include material non-public information.

Separate documents with a title line. The agent cites them as [S1], with the document name where you gave one.

Treated as your judgement [S3], not as evidence.

How It Works

The Sector Overview is ibizai's implementation of the Anthropic Claude for Financial Services equity-research sector-overview skill, adapted for emerging markets: informality, FX and convertibility, thin or unaudited data, local exchanges and filing cycles are treated as caveats rather than ignored. Output in English, Spanish and French.

You bring the sources: pasted text, an uploaded spreadsheet or text file, and your own notes. The agent works at low temperature and tags each factual claim [S1], [S2] or [S3]. It names companies only if they appear in your sources, invents no market size or multiple, and lists what is missing. Your notes are treated as judgement, not evidence. You choose the model.

Important: All output is a draft for review by a qualified professional — verify every figure against the original source. Do not use this tool with material non-public information. Nothing produced here constitutes investment, legal, tax or compliance advice.
